On the Nordic-Germanic Body-Soul.
The Abrahamic conception of the soul is actually quite simplistic when one contemplates the essence of the idea. In Christianity, the soul is sort of an “amorphous ghost” that upon death is sent to ‘heaven” where one just sings praises to Jehovah or they go to hell to burn for an eternity to think about what they’ve done by not following a 2,000-year-old Jewish rabbi. Within the official doctrines of the three Abrahamic religions, the soul is a very nebulous concept.
In Hermetic Qabalah, the soul is called “Adam Kadmon” and is made up of the 10 Sephiroth and 22 Navitoth, which is a much more complex description that the standard exoteric concept of the soul in the Abrahamic religions. The Sephiroth, the Constitution of Man, and the Four Worlds of the Tree of Life closely match the Chakra systems of the Hindus, though the originality of Jewish Kabballah is contested as much of the system appears to have been mimicked from the Greek mystery schools of the Hellenistic era. Regardless, the esoteric interpretations of these religions are verboten so their conception of the soul is always going to be lacking.
What is the Indo-European soul? It is a complex system that is not “separate” from the body but rather united in a psychosomatic “Body-Soul.” In our ancient ancestral Tradition, the spirit and the flesh are viewed as intertwined, similar to the “Adam Kadmon” of the Qabalists. The exoteric Christian religion cannot comprehend the nature of the Indo-European soul, and I believe this spiritual system from the Middle East is the root cause of most mental and physical illness in the West. It has taken the average Indo-European away from his or her very soul and body which is multifaceted and magickal.
The Nordic-Germanic description of the Body-Soul contains these elements:
1. Lyke (the body)
2. Hyde (the appearance and perception of the body as an Astral form)
3. Athem (the breath)
4. Wode (Divine Inspiration)
5. Hugh (the mind and the intellect)
6. Myne (memory, which also includes group and ancestral memory)
7. Haminja (Divine Luck)
8. Fetch ( the Higher Self, an entity separate from the body but a guardian for the body)
1. The body (Lyke) is contains energy centers, little spheres and wormholes that at once nourish the body and branch out into all dimensions in all time and space. The Hindus call these Chakras, the Qabalists call them Sephiroth and Navitoth. It is unclear how much the Nordic-Germanics mapped out a system, as the Christians destroyed much of the religion. However we will use the runes and the 9 worlds of Yggdrasil as a map of the body along with the Elder Futhark acting as the pathways beween these worlds. The Lyke is the body itself and is associated with Midgard.
2. The Hyde, which is the perception of the body, is the Astral Body, the storehouse or container for all the aspects of the soul. This is similar to the Khu of the Egyptians which houses the Khabs, the inner light, and the Ka, the essence of the soul and spirit double. This is associated with the realm of Hel.
3. Athem is the breath of life which is associated with the Well of Mimir. It is similar to the prana of the Hindus or the Breath of Ma’at of the Egyptians.
4. Wode is Divine Inspiration, which is a part of the Breath of Life. It is one’s creative spark. “Wode” is etymologically related to Woden or Wotan. All magical inspiration is taken from Wotan as he is the god of magick. The Wode is associated with Asgard.
5. The Hugh is the mind and the intellect. It is under the aegis of Wotan’s raven Hugnin and is associated with the realm of Ljustalfheim.
6. The Myne is memory and is associated with Wotan’s raven Muninn. This also includes the collective unconscious, the “group soul” and communication from souls of ancestors. This is very much like the “Akashic record” and can be accessed in trance states. The Myne is associated with Svartalfheim.
7. The Haminja, or luck, is associated with Freyja and the realm of Vanaheim. This is the essence of spiritual action. To receive “Haminja” is to receive the forward motion of the Universe guiding all one’s actions. It is a complete and total connection to the supranatural consciousness that removes all obstacles from the path of the Adept or Vitki.
8. The Fetch exists outside of the Body-Soul but influences it as a guardian similar to the Holy Guardian Angel or Daimon. It is a spiritual connection from the Hyde to the Higher realms and the Divine essence of life and the gods. The Fetch can also be a “shadow self” or an animal spirit or energy. It is associated with the realm of Jotunheim.
These are the various aspects of the soul of the average Indo-European. As we can see, our conception of the soul is much more complex than that of the Abrahamics. To cultivate these centers of our being takes much work. One has to strip away much socialization and mental manipulation from our Christian society to fully understand the Body-Soul and the Self of the Indo-European consciousness. We live in a society in the grips of a mass hypnosis and the only way to fully grasp our sense of Self and relate to others is to abandon the Consensus Reality of our Christian-Marxist Order and embrace the true folk-soul of the Nordic-Germanic culture which has been mapped out here.
